outfit for a date

Yep...the hubby took me out so this is what I wore to a movie day date. A simple sun dress I won on ebay, sum black wedges,and a white purse. I didn't feel like getting too done up as it was 105 that day. I pomped my hair and went for neutral colored make-up.Very simple and easy, yet really cute!

Wow, it's been like 3 weeks or so since I've written on here, but I've had nothing really extrordinary to talk about. I have been on a sewing like a mad woman pahse....I only have one pic of the cutestest most recent one.. Also about 2 weeks ago we took our daughter to the Montery Bay Aquriam for the first time. She had fun....but we caught a wicked cold thats still hauting us with a cough from the crazy temp change. Going from 100 to 55 degrees is not healthy....even with sweaters and hand sanitiser in tote, it still got us bad but no one else. Boy does that suck. but my babys a trooper and hasn't been complaining at all. I really liked the pictures they had up, the riviting rosie one was funny......and the pink flamingoes...



..i just had to get a picture..Theylooked like lawn orniments...What trip is complete without clamchowder on the warf? Not mine, so we headed to Gilberts, which might I add has the best chowder on the warf.....and had an awesome lunch( i previously removed the belt as not to constrict valuable storage space for chowder and candies that would come in a bit). We also stoped by Carosel Candy and loaded up on chocolate strawberries and caramel apples....which were killer good! We then concluded our trip with sum stupid poses at the end of the warf with the little statue they have up there... Too bad it was over cast, but at least it wasn't hott as the dessert where I live. Overall it was a very fun day, and fun was had by all especially my baby.....oh and I did a very easy hairstyle for the trip. I just rolled up my bangs and my hair was down untill i took the pics. Red flowers, necklace, shoes, and belt made for an interesting look, jeggings from lanebryant, and a nice black wrap top from walmart .com completed the look. Nothing all fussy for me cuse I knew it would be cold....so till next post ladies.....send me any questions or comments you may have.....

Kmart Shoe Smart!

oh yeah, i found the cutest shoes the other day at where else but Kmart....their black and white gingham with a bow on the toe. they will be gret all summer, they have a low heel which will make summer walkin really nice.....o did imention they were only 14bucks???? well worth it, if they had red ones i would have just died! i have to go to walmart now and pick up sum matching fabric to make a cute rockabilly halter to go with it!

How to have amazing hair in the morning.....

SO I went to bed last light looking like aunt JEmima, hair in large pin curls, covered in a bandana. I awoke to beautiful full curls. Whos says you need short hair with bangs to have that vintage look???? guess they didnt try hard enough. SO after I took a shower yesterday, I braided my hair in two tight braids and let them get 70% dry. BEfore I went to bed, I undid the braids and shook them out and quickly rolled my hair in to 12 pincurls that stand up.Two on top one on each side and the rest in the back. I'm quite a crazy sleeper so I put a scarf on to keep the frizz down. FOR those of you who dont know, I Have very curly frizy hair, so to keep it at bay I also used a searum when I had just gotten out of the shower. SLeep on them for 8 hours, and the most important part for fizzy curly textured hair is not to brush out your curls, shake them out and unpeice them with your fingers. I pined up the side and flufed up the bangs and pined them to stay. NO hairspray in sight, it just dries out my hair and makes my curls untouchable. A nice simple flower makes this style look very nice and just a bit more dressed up. I wore ablack one shoudler top I Made by watching a video off YT. and it was perfect for this 93 degree day here in CA. well I Hope you all enjoyed this short tutorial. TIll next time ladies.....

Amazing once agian!

yes, your eyes do not decieve you....thats 6 day old polish with no chips! Tomarow will be 1 week of chip free nail polish wear. I used salley hansen insta-dry nail polish in a spakley purpal. I did use a base coat of the clear diamond strenth and also used it as a top coat. Two coats of the colored polish it self....and I am one impressed mama. It has survived this week undoing car seats which is hell on nails, doing hair, light dishes, using boby pins....cooking. I am in love with this polish and it is the absolute best polish ever made that I have bought.If you ever see this polish buy it! its is the best thing ever! so now that my ranting is over! I have one more post today about a nice hair do.....

Just another Friday....

I know this is 2 days late, but ya thats me and the hubby heading on a date and doing our weekly food shopping. Ive also included 1 picture of the area where we live. In the middle of nowhere miles from the closest city, no McDonalds in sight, just frm land all around. THis is where I live, but I'm glad not live in the city or big cities at that. If I want to visit a store they dont have in the cities around us, well thats what the internet is for.... well I'm sure you guys know I Got my computer back now. It had 2 viris's from myspace, so no more page surfing, its too expensive to put in the shop everytime it has a problem. So this is going to be my last week to make videos for my Youtube for the month since I have to pack, so I have alot planned. STay tunned to my channel for lots of videos this week.....TIll next post ladies....

Amazing!!!

I just tryed the Salley Hanson Insta-dry nail polish and am so impressed!!! I hate painting my nails because of how long it takes them to dry....not anymore! this tube of polish did cost almost 5 bucks, but its well worth it when how fast your nails dry. No more geting those dings from touching things when your nails are wet. I think it really only took 2 min to be completely dry ready to go and do stuff. BY the time i was done with both hands the first hand was set wich took only one min, and then i had to wait an extra min for the right hand to dry. Another great thing is its a one coat polish....and it really only takes one coat for amazing coverage.THis makes painting your nails with kids around able to happen. THis polish deffineatly had busy moms in mind. We want to look pretty too....its just all about convience and time. I got mine in Rapid REd 09. ITs a very old hollywood red carpet kind of red, this is deffinately my new favorite nail polish and am going to start picking up a bottle everytime i go to the store! SO If yo see it buy it! its amaing!

What to wear to a baseball game?

today 25 years ago, my hubby was born. so to celebrate that happy day, were taking him to a local minor legue baseball game. It's windy and warm, and I don't want to get all done up today. SO i went almost all out on the make-up, and the hair will probly just be a high pony tail, so my hair wont get blown away. Its deffinately a shorts day here in california, its supposed to be in the mid eighties to the low ninties today. Well have too see what looks nice but also has the ease of comfort! ill post more pics tomarow!

Just a quick post on my made up friday face. Its basicly a matte pin up face. i didn't feel like being all glittery today. this is a short post but ill make up for it with pictures. ill be uploading some videos soon. TTYL

Lifes Just Peachy!

SO today was very overcast and cloudy here in california......so i decided to do a colorfuly fresh face to warm things up. On Friday when I get to do my wekly shopping.....I Saw this limited edition mayballine eyeshadow duo in lifes a peach i b elieve. so for 1.99 It was mine. It was a nice shimmer and had just enough color and shine to make my day. THE cheeks was ELF all over color stick in peachy....thegold flecks really bring out my color nicely. I watched Pursebuzz's video on how to know if your a warm or cool or whatever a few days ago. NOW that i know that i'm a warm, I'm niticing a big difference on how nice warm tone make-up makes on my skin. ON my lips I used mayballin colorsencational lipstick in BLushing BRunette.....its almost like not wearing any lipstick, but puts enough color on that you dont look washed out. I added some of my favorite ELF False lashes in natural.....and vola! my face was done!

What A Nudey Day....

HAve you ever had one of those days where you think you want to get all dressed up, but in the middle of it all, you decide to say screw it! and just go bare.....well that half happend to me today. so it resulted in nude make-up for me....except the b rows and eyeliner as you all know. Thats how i draw my face on no matter what, so i cant not draw those on...lol. SO for my hair no pincurls or rolls today, just a simple pony-tail will do. and for my dress, and plain black low cut wrap top. to put a bit of flair in though, a cheetah printtube top will peekout from underneigth it. its pretty warm here in california, so plain black shorts will work. its nice to see 80's agian...although im not looking forward to the 100 as whats common here where i live. i love to be all matchy...so my cheetah purse will work as will my cheetah flats. simple yet nice. i love to look flawlessly comfortable yet chic.....if you can mix those two. so anyway, ill post some makeup pics.....and maybe some outfit pics later whenthe hubby gets howe to take them.
